Simply visit http://www.facebook.com/about/messages/ and click on the "Request an Invitation" button found at the lower right portion of the page. All you have to do is wait for facebook to send you an invite.

Facebook to Launch Own Email Service
Facebook is said to be launching their own email service called the Project Titan today November 15, 2010.
This would be regarded as a great addition to their social networking services. Aside from easily connecting with your friends, you can now have your own @facebook.com email address. How cool could that be?
